Super Jet Stright Bars vs. Standard Bars

I am a taller rider at 6’ 2”. I am going to put on a Blowsion steering system as the stock bushings leave a lot to be desired and always tend to loosen up. My question is, as I am taller; would straight bars be a bit better than standard bars? It seems the straight bars will move me a bit more forward in my stance. Any input would be appreciated. I know a lot of this just boils down to personal preference, however just looking for some input on the straight bars as it looks to me they may be more accommodating for a taller rider.

Yes straighter and wider are the way to go. You don't need to go completely straight, they make a 4 degree set of bars that work well..

Don't know how much height makes a difference, I am 5'11" and really don't like straight bars at all.
The 4* bars seem to put my hands/wrists at a much more comfortable angle.

I rode with either 7 or 4 dregree bars for a couple years... Liked em alright. Put 0 degree bars on my sj and when I went back to the old ski with the old bars if felt like I was riding/pushing a wheel barrow around... I bet straight bars are NIICE :)

I have. Stock steering system aside from the 0 degree bars and I amm very happy with them. I feel like I have much better control of the ski. I didn't really notice a difference as far As being more forward on the ski, but it felt more natural to ride with the zeros. I rode a stock 2006 SJ last summer and it felt like I was on a beach cruiser or a girl's bike. I should have put streamers and a basket on the damn thing.

Just 2 cents from a nobody.

You just have to try them. I'm 6'7" and have ridden motorcross bikes and sport quads most of my life. But on the Superjet the straight bars kill my wrists. I prefer some angle.

I'm 6'2" as well...I have a stock length ac pole with stock bars and I stand way back in the tray and feel like I have no control of the ski. I am shortening my pole and going straight bars this winter.

I want everybody to put your hands out in front and imagine your holding on to straight bars..... Look at your elbows, Now twist your hands so that they would fit on angled bars, look at your elbows, what did the do? Your elbows turned inward a little bit.... IF your just riding around this is ok, but if your doing any kind or rolls, nose stabs, etc you want your elbows out. Straight bars make your joints feel more natural.
