This is a shortened, reinforced, OEM handle pole that I just finished about 3 hours ago. Shipping it down to Lisa so it can be used to help generate some cash for Joe's recovery fund.

Awesome work.:hail: How much is it shortened by?

About 1 1/2 inches, I just sawed it off right at the bottom aluminum part and put it back in. Aluminum plates have been added on the inside of the fiberglass to give the rivets something to really bite into. Then the about 8 inches of the bottom half of the pole have been thickened up to meet the thickness of the aluminum bit.

It's no X-metal or AC, but it's a lot stronger than stock.
