stroking a 701 need help please

i have trenched cases, and im willing to spend the money on a stroker crank , but what else is needed? cylinder base spacer? or a different head, eg:http://www.ebay.com/itm/28081281748...em=&sspagename=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr any help appreciated

All depends on how much stroke and what length rods are used. 5-6 mm is as far as you want to go with stock OEM crank webs. Who is going to stroke the crank for you?

Give it all to a professional motor builder to have them do it....
Lots of complicated things involved more then what you just said..

oh ok, i kinda of wanted to build it by myself, because theres not really any places in aus that will do it, and im a diesel fitter by trade

I would look at buying a stroker crank If i was you. Much easier and cheaper in the long run

Oh and I wouldn't go over 5mm with the stock cylinders if I was you

ok here is the plan +5mm stroke crank, on normal rods, than what do i need, pistons?, cylinder base spacer?

the best advice u will ever get is give it to a engine builder and get it done right the first time or u are wasting ur time, i can think of at least 2 ppl in aus that it can do it and do it right and one of them is actually posting in ur thread lol
