Super Jet Stubby cone with big hub impeller

Just got a 9/15 hooker for my 02 sj with a stock pump. Just curious to see what you guys think about running this impeller with a stock nose cone versus a stubby cone...the ski is a limited set up..dual 38s, 718 with a girdled Ada head with 35cc domes, limited b pipe, msd enhancer...all the usual jazz....

Wow, I changed to a stubby cone at the lake after taking RPM and GPS readings with a stock one. I could not feel or measure any difference.

It's a good cheap upgrade...go after it.

I put one on my ski with my Hooker 9/15 and stock nozzle, didnt notice much difference, but for 30.00 i figured it was worth trying. :shrug:

Gonna try a bored nozzle next, prob be ditching the stubby as i hear that combo can cause cavitation

Decided to run both together, woah does this ski rip now!!! It really woke up the ski. Definitely a mod worth doing !
