SX/SXi/SXi Pro Stuck wide open problems

When i go to start my ski out of the water, i give it a couple of taps on the throttle to ether clean out or to make shore it is runing before i put it in the water. But if i give it to many pumps of gas (like over 2 quick ones) it sticks wide open, but in the water it runs great. The throttle doesn't stick at all it is loose the hole time and i have tooken the carb apart and repuilt it many times thinking it was that but it still does it. let me know what u guys think i should do.

I read that thread that midlake sent me to and it helped out al lot. So i started looking for leaks and stuff and found air pockets in the gas line but the gas line has no holes in it. Is it possible that the thing that stickes into the gas tank is going bad so it is leaking.

Try choke or if you have a primer pump it to richen the fuel up fast. It can do damage, although it usually won't be catastrophic unless it keeps winding out for more than a few seconds. Had it happen on a fresh rebuild once, and it's funny how fast you'll turn into a spastic retard trying to stop it. Lol
