Super Jet Super jet has spark but a very weak spark

The ski has a spark but it is a very very weak spark, any ideas?

Cut back your plug wires an inch or so. The plug boots screw off, trim the wires until you see a nice looking conductor, and then screw them back on.

tried it and its still very weak

Get a spare coil and redo/verify all connects

I traded out the coil from another yamaha jet ski that i had that had a 650 motor in it as well. And even after i changed them out no luck. Maybe both skis coils are bad

was the other plug still in the head and connected? we had a problem recently with one plug in and connected, while testing the other plug and got a fant/weak spark. upluggled the one still in the head and no spark on the one we were testin. it was apinched under the flywheel/stator assy.

bad ground. #1 in my opinion.

Well iv tried everything. I think i am going to buy a new coil and new cdi box
