Custom/Hybrid Superfreak Owner

I'm just going with a jet maniac 781 bb
tem has the hull ready is probably why the wait is shorter I'm getting the faded red one
the wait would be even shorter but he's going out of town so I'll have to wait for him to get back

Should be a good power plant for you, my ill old JM 710 hit pretty good in mine, I can't wait to get mine together for version 2.0 with a bunch more HP and thrust trim. Hopefully I'll be ready for the water by the end of the weekend. if you need any suggestions or help, hit me up.

yeah i think a bigger motor may be in the future but for now this will be a good learning tool
i want to get big hours out of a motor for now since im not the best rider and when i do have a ski i try to ride every hour i can
my friend has a lake about 15 minutes from my house so ill have a nice place to learn everything

Takes to Tem today. He's going out of town tomorrow so the work on the ski won't start till the 1st or 2nd
he said the motor is being built and should be ready by the time he gets back, getting a xmetal adjustable pole, stock ignition with mad enhancer, superfreak carbon water box, b pipe, Solas mag pump, xmetal trim, and rrp steering
im probably forgetting other things but I can't remember

should be a pretty solid package, I have quite a few of the same goodies on mine. Get a set of Riser bars for your RRP setup, your back will thank you for it.

Riser bars are a personal preference thing. You won't actually know until you ride with some. I have to get used to them. I wanted them to help my back, but I don't like the extra width yet. I'm a smaller guy at 5'8" and side mounting with wider bars is a bit more of a pain than with straight bars. I was able to trim them down 3/4" each side and haven't tried it yet. I think I will stick with them after I get used to them, but it's a strange change initially. Pivot point feels different and I like the feel of shorter (straight) bars as far as turning the bars quickly for tricks.

All that being said, I'm more than likely going to stick with them, just to keep my back happier doing set up wakes n stuff.

That red one is nice. -5 right? Almost bought that one but the teal -5 he had was a bit easier on my eyes. You're gonna love it. I do not recommend you do not use the 8 countersink pivot plate bolts that come shipped with the hull. All but one of the nuts seized halfway on and had to be broken out. Cant say why that happened but it did. Other than spending time getting the driveline squared up it was a pretty easy build. Also check to make sure your hardware is not bottoming out in places like motor mounts to hull, pump and such.
