Superjet and fx-1 pipe difference

Is a limited chamber factory pipe different between a superjet and fx-1? If so, what is the difference?

I have an FX-1 chamber that I was thinking about putting in my superjet. Just wondering what the performance differences are and if it will fit okay.

it will go harder than a 701 limited chamber
i always used to use them on my race boats before dry pipes came along

What do you mean by "go harder," it will rev higher?

The FX-1 chamber is pretty much like the Superjet mod chamber. It has the same size fat part as the mod, but the overall length is the same as the limited. It's straighter along the outside to fit in the FX-1 hull.

the 650 chamber is an awesome thing to melt down
apart from that well i am not sure
i used to run the fx1 chamber on my 650 limited boat as well when i was racing in new zealand

So you would recommend that I go ahead and put this fx1 chamber in my superjet instead of finding a superjet chamber. I just have limited mods done to my boat.

I`m swopping a killer set up out of a fx-1 into a roundnose, But the B pipe is way too close to the waterbox,( no room for the hose )

Did you have to cut the chamber or was it a straight swap.

I just put mine in. It was a tight fit. The pipe almost is very close to the waterbox, but I managed to get some hose on there. I am running an X-metal box so it could be positioned different than yours (Octane).
