Superjet Mod Help 2019

Had a 2014 SJ and sold it for a couch way back. Well licorice the couch, so i bought another SJ.
Mods I bought is a blowsions pole and steering OVP
do I need a different steering cable or should i be fine stock?
I ordered a B pipe because everyone said to. ( asides from what factory gives you do I need anything else to install it?) They said they give me everything
I'm doing Bob footholds. Shouldn't have any issues installing them.
Worx 201 intake grate simple install.
Really just curious about the B pipe and or any pointers that i should know about installing the blowsion pole.
Thanks in advance

Why not get the Worx grate for the 2008-2018 SJ? Not even sure if the 201 will work on the newer hulls.

Yes on the cable, you will need to switch to the Pre 08 Cables to get more throw.

You should get all jetting with the pipe. Unless it is a mod pipe, dont believe they send any jetting with it.

What exactly will the cable do? just get me more angle and throw? and I had the 201 on my 2014 and loved it. At least I think I did

The 2008-2018 cables have shorter throw to work with the FX1 pole. (They used this pole because it is approx 2" shorter than the older poles. Bit the downside is it did not turn as quick. With you having AM pole you need the other cable to get faster throw.

If you plan on getting a am-head soon I would consider tapping the B-pipe manifold for a second cooling line. This will distribute the cooling water better and for my understanding is crucial if you have two cooling outlets on the head what most or all am heads do. If you do it now you dont have to take out the pipe again. I dont know how it is for 08+ superjets but you might need a grinder to grind down the ribs and a piece of hydroturf so your pipe does not wear through.... The fit from those pipes is not optimal in pre 08 hulls. Maybe get an new pipe/waterbox coupler that way you dont have to cut your og one and the og coupler was a no fun installing....Are you sure you did not have a worx 203 I think that was the equivalent of the 201 for 08+ sj but I am not sure about it.

Once the pipe is in you will not regret it. As wave ninja said shorten the two manifold bolts and I had to grind down a wrench to reach those two manifold bolts and another wrench was bent 90 degree to make the carb removal more easy (for rejetting) its hard to reach with a normal wrench at least 2 of the carb bolts.

this all was the main reason on my 2014 SJ i never did the pipe, pain in the ass to install. hopefully i dont licorice anything up lmao

To be fair once you have done it and know the ticks its not that hard and does not take too long. But doing it the first time I encountered a few issues. Having had all these tips would have helped a lot. And trust me its worth a little headache. Dont give up yet! After your first ride you will forget about the install ;) its worth it.

so what did you do there, grind it down looks like? and those are the bolts you had to cut down a bit?

Yeah I grind the outside of the wrench down (dont go too far otherwise the wrench will not grab the bolt anymore) then it fits onto the bolt and you can turn the bolt in step by step. The bolt looks a little messed up because I did not shorten them and just brute force them in since those two critical bolts where the last once. I did not feel like undoing everything again. DON'T DO IT THIS WAY I had my fun once I had to remove the pipe again.....You will save your self time and a headache if you just cut them down a bit. Also for tuning the pipe I found it very difficult to reach the bottom screw(on the headpipe) you can get some adjustable T screws for it from Jetmaniac that makes tuning the pipe super easy and they are best installed when the pipe is not in the ski.
