Superjet nose repair help

Well early this past summer I was doing some deap subbies and this is what happen.

I rode like this for a good 3 months and it doesnt leak but now that its the off season here in michigan I am getting ready to fix it. When I first hit it just cracked and I used some bondo stuff to re attatch it but didnt hold to well and snapped all the way off.

Thats what the white stuff it in the pics

Im pretty handy but am not sure were to start and what to begin to fix it?

Thanks in advance

prime candidate for a nose bondrail delete, you could go one further and smooth the nose + internal fuel fill, you could go one further yet and do a rocker mod.

What ever shape you decide to put back, you'll want to grind off all the white stuff you added, any turf that is left, and any damaged glass. You can tell were there is hidden damage depending on how it sounds when lightly tapping on it with something hard like a hammer. There will be some damage you cannot see and you will want to grind that off as well. Once all the bad is gone, feather back into the good glass. Ideal is a 12:1 slope, ie if your glass is 1/4" thick you want to feather it back 3". Then use something easily shape-able (like foam) to make a mold to lay the fiberglass over and attach it temporarily to the ski. Clean everything really good with acetone and cover what you don't want glass on with duct tape (including the form). Use a medium weight glass cloth and epoxy resin. Vary the direction of the fibers with each layer. Your first piece will be the smallest and the last will be the largest and cover your entire ground out area. Once it sets up trim off the extra and sand it to the right shape / smoothness. Then paint on a coat of epoxy to seal it all backup. If done right it will be stronger than new.
