Superjet Not running right. to lean?

I rode my Superjet about 3 weeks ago and it ran fine.. well i just took it out and it was not running correct, it didnt have the power it should (its a 5mm able stroker with MSD TL) it was running less than a stock ski.. it didnt feel like it was only running on one cylinder. But didnt have the power. I pulled out the spark plugs, the front plug was tan, the back was dark and oily. Well i flipped the plugs and took it out.. ran fine for about 5 seconds then back to running wrong. Pulled the plugs again, and the same thing.. front was tan, back was oily.. and thats with flipping the plugs. i tried to mess with the tunning screws there in the carbs.. but i dont know whats going on.. what do you guys think is up? give me as much info as u can.. thanks!

did you check for spark in both cylinders? Clean carbs/filters to ensure its not clogged and delivering fuel properly. IF carbs where dialed in three weeks ago you should have to turn screws to make it run right unless the temps have change dramatically. If its not carbs check your compression front and back. As i recently learned With my TL, ground, ground, ground. check the stinking grounds. what carbs ,TL, compressio/fuel do you run in that motor?

Also check that the joiner between the 2 carbs isn't loose. IE: Both carbs opening in unison.

nice, that could cause some issues. i seen a guys tauceti f/a seperate and drop into the carb a bit and cause some headache until he found it. what total loss are you running? anolog, digital single pickup or digital dual channel/pickup?

ok after playing with it more.. here are some more details.. i believe the ignition is firing correctly.. now im not positive, but both plugs are putting out good spark. I have been trying alot of different things.. and this is the one that kinda has me puzzled and thinking this could cause the problem.

My Front cylinder is running lean.. the spark plug is a good shade of tan. so just for kicks.. and loosened the high and low screws on the carb to another full turn or more open.... still running lean.. the same shade of tan it was originally.. and whats interesting.. is the other carbs screws are actually turned in further and the spark on that side is more oiler than the front one that is wider open.. do you guys understand what im saying?

sounds like your carb adjustments are off. there is not a person here who can tell you exactly what to do. Best thing is to see if you can find someone nearby who can help you get it tuned out. This is a problem with buying a ski that is totally built and not understanding everything there is to maintain them.

clean your carbs then, you may have sucked something in and it is restricting fuel flow. you checked for spark so you can cross that off, now do your fuel system. also did you check your carb sync as someone asked? make sure the butterflys are opening at the same time.

i bought a carb rebuild kit from riva... and yea.. both carbs open at the same time.. next is this rebuild kit..

and just another thing i blew threw the gas lines a bit.... and got the ski running perfect for like 5 seconds.. than right back to the low power..

But again, it ran fine last time I went out and now all if a sudden it is doing this, and remember a tuned the carb today reallllllly rich and its still running really lean

that my point, full mod ski's are not always a "Tune it, set it and forget it." Sometimes depending on how it setup, you may have to constantly tweek it.
