SX/SXi/SXi Pro Superjet pole on SXI Pro

Wondering if anyone has fitted a superjet pole to SXI Pro 750.
Mine has two cracks on the bottom near where it mounts
Considering replacing with superjet pole as they are more available, cheaper etc
How would I go with mounts, steering plate, steering cable, throttle cable (lengths etc)
Would appreciate any guidance

Mike B has an SXR with a RN pole on it. It looks and works great! Can't remember details of how it is mounted.

I have an sxi pro with a SJ pole sitting in my backyard. It's not that hard of a mod but you'll need to whip the dremel out as well as a drill and tap.

It uses the Kawasaki handlepole bracket, which needs to be cut in the front to allow the SJ pole to go up and down. I guess you could cut the pole instead but that's how my old man did it.

Since the kawasaki steering cable is in the left side, the steering cable and the little steering ball on the turn plate need to be relocated to the left side. (If you leave the cable and ball on the right it'll reverse the steering). We drilled and tapped the stock SJ turn plate to relocate the little ball. To relocate where the steering cable locks in on the pole you need to dremel a 'c' shape on the right side so it can slide in, mark where you want the little plate that holds it in place, and drill and tap a hole where you can bolt it on.

hope this helps

On my SXR it looks like kawi steering cable and throttle cable still used. Just a bracket made for the pole which is connected on the left side (opposite of the superjet) and as far as the pole bracket and what not it looks like the pole was unmolested and the only thing was two bushings about half inch or so on each side of the pole. For spring im really not sure if its a kawi or superjet. I can take pictures and upload them tonight when I upload some pictures in different threads

Sorry was busy putting my ski together yesterday and today. I will get pictures tomorrow if all goes well. I don't think it will be much of a headache. Once you get a bracket for the steering under the chinpad I think that's the biggest battle. buy some bushings and just file down until they fit
