Super Jet superjet problem

hello , i have 2007 yamaha superjet with ada head , vforce3 , factory bpipe , tdr water box , wiseco piston , msd wires , msd ignition , blowsion flames , the question is when i took it to the shop the man connects a wires and and he told its a sens

It's hard to tell in that picture but it's normally just wrapped out of the way, cut at the grommet, or disconnected and replaced with an ocd solutions bilge wiring harness. Can you unwrap it so we can see the whole thing, from the grommet?

before he wrapped it there was two small wires a black and a red one

the wires for the overheat sensor circuit are black and pink.

the purpose of that sensor is to protect the motor by cutting power if the motor starts to overheat. if the sensor is not installed into the cylinder head it should have no effect on your engines performance. (assuming the sensor itself is not faulty)

usually when installing an aftermarket cylinder head such as yours, the sensor is not used anymore. Some people fold the sensor out of the way, others disconnect it and cap off the wires and e-box grommet.
