superjet rebuild! parts quality

So, im in trouble. my superjet needs some work.

im in the uk and I know most of you guys on here are from America, but we don't really have much activity over here on forums. so im just mainly after some reviews on the quality of some parts.
I will be needing some pistons and a crank, I will need a rebore too but that will just be machined in.
there seem to be a few options available but i have heard good and bad for each and some big price differences.
hotrods do a crank over here but its £700 and i have seen an sbt crank in the US for £200 so a huge difference.
also with pistons I have seen some wsm but not so good reviews.
anybody have any ideas or opinions.

basically I moved house and the ski sort of just got left and forgotten about. must have had some water in there somewhere and its rusted the crank bearings and small end but it was running a little low on compression on 1 of the cylinders so im thinking if i need to do a crank i might aswell rebore it and have it like new.

thanks in advance

A quality bore from a shop that knows jet skis is key.
Parts quality kinda depends on how you ride. Racing/high rpm demands better parts like Wiseco or wossner forged pistons, welded OEM crank, etc

If you are running anything besides a bone stock motor I would stay away from SBT cranks. This one was at most 1 hour old, brand new. If your ski's got some nuts, don't bother with SBT.

^Woah! I run sbt in all my skis and no problems yet. I got them from JM but i dont think he does anything with them other then resale?

I was told by a tech there that they still talk about that.. I'm only one of two people that's happened to (allegedly) in almost 10 years

I will have the cylinders sent to a ski shop over here to get the bores done. I don't use my ski for racing, I just do a bit of surf riding really but it is slightly modded, protec pipe, RAD lightweight flywheel, ported (light), was toying with the idea of putting on an ada girdled head to raise the compression slightly but im not overly fussed on this if I do or I don't I have had the head sat about for a few years now just never got round to it

99% of people have had great luck with the SBT crankshafts. Even after seeing that picture I will continue to run them. I also like ProX pistons.
