Superjet spark plug leads

IM not getting any resistance between my 2 spark plug leads at all. Books says i should have 4.1K. After pulling off the caps i discovered a broken wire about 2 inchs back from the spark plug cap. Well i figured that was the problem so i striped it back and still nothing.

I check the leads on my seadoo that i know are good and they dont have any resistace either. I found a deal on a used coil on ebay but the guy says it doesnt have any resistance either.

Im just trying to figure out whats going on here cause everyone says i should have 4 K and i dont want to buy another broken coil.

Also im showing 0.0 on my primary side (orange to black) which is also out of spec. what do you guys think?

If your using known good meters and set on the right scale to read 4000-6000 ohms, then you have bad wires and/or coil.
I use my older fluke digital meter...
Primary side I have to hold for like 10-15 seconds to get a reading as if I remember they're like .4 ohm...
