Sometimes it starts, sometimes I push start and get nothing...so I push button again and it either cranks and starts or just cranks until it gets enough gas. Not a big issue cause I always get it running and doesn't take very long, just wondering if something is going bad. So strange that sometimes it cranks and sometimes it doesn't. (no sound whatsoever)

Wonder if it would be bad to keep using as is ( since not much summer left) and worked on it when it totally stopped working or in winter? Could it cause other problems? Thanks

Nah, keep using it. It could be the start/stop switch, some connection, the starter relay, the starter, power cables. Keep using it as long as it works well enough.
