Superjet steering cable setup help

My steering cable is new but keeps pulling apart at the nozzle metal rods. I push it in and it clips but if i pull with slight pressure, it just pulls out.
How do you tighten it or stop it pulling out ?

I know it’s a pita to install but I would return it and buy an OEM cable if that one is aftermarket.

If you want to fix it, you can get a crimping tool and slightly crimp it. Sounds like the manufacturer got a little lazy.

This is going to sound a little weird but it might work, buy a cheapo mini tubing cutter , dull the blade down with a file then use it to put a slight crimp on the cable housing.
