Superjet - Top end rebuild - Missing

A recent rebuilt of the top end and carb's of my superjet.

I've had many problems settings up with the carbs originally running 1.5m (55psi) going to a 2m needle and seat also running pop-off of 18psi (Shinny Silver springs) this seems to of been the best set up but still needs a little more adjustment.

I now seem to have another problem which I didnt have before the rebuild, it runs perfect for a whilst but then it will feel like its missing (badly). If you then leave it for a whilst its fine then do the same thing. It doesnt feel like the temp sender cutting in as that always completely cuts your revs ?

Could I have an air leak from the base gasket ?

Any ideas ?

when the carb was rebuilt the pop off was just fizzing starting from about 24 psi. It did not run very well with 1.5 needle and seats and 55psi so im now at 2m needle and seats with shinny spring 18psi. This seems to be the best its been but aftr about 5 minutes it starts to miss. Were thinking it might be an air leak from the base gasket causing the pump (pulse) not to work properly ?? I am removing my carbs and going to put friends on which run perfect to see if carb problem or a totally different problem.
I'm also removing carb spacer as seems to be a problem to setup with this on.

Is your gas tank check valve working properly? (VERIFY!)
Is your fuel pickup sitting on the very bottom, or about 1/4 inch off the bottom?

An airleak would cause a problem that's "on" all the time. It wouldn't screw with the pump pulse too much, so I wouldn't worry about that. Your problem is either fuel delivery or spark problems.
Try to exclude fuel problems first.
