Super Jet superjet troubles

got back from school for fall break had the charger on for 2 days on the 2amp setting go to start it up and BOOOM! and a bunch of smoke comes rolling out from the ski. Didnt have time to check it out. I think the starter blew up. has anyone else had this happen before??

check your ground cable then pull the started and "bench test" it.

I had a situation kinda like that with my WB1 where I saw a puff of smoke cone out of my ebox. I checked all my electronics (solenoid and such) and it all checked out. I eventually needed a new starter but as I recall that was the direct call. Search in the waveblaster forum for smoke from ebox and you'll find my thread.
