looks like you may have caught it good, if the wind stayed cooperative
It didn't, stayed almost straight from the north and a little cold. But swell was big and there were some fun waves to ride for sure. Set waves were pretty large in the afternoon.
Spoke with Matt yesterday....
I rarely ride Daytona, But decided to head down there to ride today.
Was loaded/hitched up last night.
This morning, b4 getting fuel and heading out, I gave the trailer a "once-over". Ended up spending the entire day fighting trailer and truck lights. Troubleshooting can be tough when there are three different things wrong! Bad light socket, blown fuse and bad pigtail-plug.
Hope you had a good ride!
Dan
Sorry you didn't make it. Tem(berky), Matt(flyinby), Ed(? On X/Tubbies inventor), and guy(forgot name) on blaster rode.
Matt was throwing some cool tweaked out 360 stab/rolls?
Got a flatwater afternoon finish and lake flush in also back in orlando with Phil Clemmons and Lucas. Tem's 1200 circus is dialed in now and a crazy handling, nasty powerful ride especially after surf. Lucas was throwing down as usual, height is crazy. Phil's 1100 badass is alot of fun too and well tuned. Wish I had more energy to ride them, big choppy surf ride killed me. Definately the ideal ride day though, 1/2 day big surf and flatwater flush and finish with flatwater session.
