sx 650 chin pad mod complete

Just a few pics of my sx650 made some mods over the last week, got round to removing all the padding from the massive chin pad, cutting and having the hydro turf pad cover re-stitched so as to give the ski a smoother look , ( I will be riding will a helmet from now on) also I have removed all the large side rails, as I am going to be fitting turf side rails as soon as they arrive

very happy with the results and now I wont have this silly big pad in my face every time im riding

I actually bought some vinyl today for a 650sx chinpad. That looks much better than the caveman club that used to be up there. I think I should do something like this while im in there.

yes 3+ inches of foam i cut off the pad,

do you guys have any pictures of what the chinpad looks like without a cover?

i am considering turfing my chinpad this weekend and wasn't sure if i should turf the handpole it's self of or the chinpad form?
