SX/SXi/SXi Pro SXi Pro Head Mod Questions

Hey all. I need a little help from the experts. Trying to get my first ski and found one that caught my eye. Any answers to my questions will help, thanks.

1) What is the approximate value range for a '98 SXi Pro in good shape with ADA racing heads and modded intake and pipe? Trying to find comparables but not a lot out there. The gelcoat is shiny and decals are all stock, no major blemishes as far as I can tell. Haven't seen the bottom.

2) I'm not sure of the implications of these mods. Does the ADA head replacement mean the compression, fuel mix, and exhaust levels will all be higher? What is the point of the mod in general, better low end or high end?

Also, does it require extra cooling or not necessarily? Will it risk the block health by running it at higher pressure? I'd like this to last for awhile.

And lastly, would fuel consumption go up significantly? I'm more of a cruiser so I won't be WOT much, but wouldn't want to see, say, 20% more fuel consumption.

Thanks all, love the community and looking forward to being part of it in more than just the virtual sense!

1. value varies in the area you are in. in WA thats about a 3500-4k ski...but might sit on it for a while as they arent as popular as superjets.
2. the ada head adds compression which yields more throttle response, bottom end snap. depending on what pipe, that yields you better mid-top end power. your fuel mixture should generally always be around 40:1, your carbs should be jetted to spec for the modifications. as long as you arent over 180psi you can run premium pum fuel safely. anything higher requires race fuel. your water temps are fine for running single line cooling vs the dual cooling mod. your fuel consumption is a result of your throttle finger.
