This is on my brother-in-laws ski. 2000, low hrs. Replaced with new battery last week. Ski was running fine today then all of the sudden wouldn't start. Ground looks good. When the start button is pushed happens, nothing click nothing. Where should we start?

Its probably the lugnut..yep fixed it. No but seriously first I would check all connections (battery/starter..) and if still nothing then maybe swap a good kawi starter in to make sure thats not the problem.. just gotta start checking things off the ol list.. good luck.

if its not clicking id try jumping the starter solenoid with a screwdriver to make sure the starter still cranks.
id put my money on the contacts in the start button tho.
do a search. u can put an ohm meter on the s/s switch plug to check if the push buttons are working. guess you could just take it apart n clean it tho too.
if you do makes sure to use some di-electric grease when u put it back together.
good luck

Check the 4 pin connector for the stop start switch for corrosion too...could be as simple as that, that seems to be a common problem in my experience.....good luck bro

Put a screwdriver between the two posts on the solenoid and the starter turned over. Checked the 4 pin connector and looked good. Pulled the starter buttons and checked them. Where do I go from here. Is it possible the relay is bad?

You can unplug the start stop, and jump solenoid (rules out start stop switch). Did it fire when you cranked it by jumping solenoid? If so solenoid might be bad. Check supply wire with voltmeter. By any chance check the fuse behind the ebox cover plug?
