SXR bogging after 20-30mins of running? Need Help Please

Hey guys I have been riding and wrenching for some time now and I have never had this problem but I am sure someone else has. So here is the deal. I have a 2006 800 SXR it runs great and I went out this afternoon to have some fun. Was riding for about 30 min.s and then it just starts boging down. At that point I took it to the shore and poped the hood. No funny nosies and no heat, nothing in the pump, got plenty of spark, new plugs, good gas, warm water out the pisser, thinger compressision test pops hard on both. Everything that I know to check I have checked. It will start and Idle great, and when I got it back on the trailer for a min. I let it cool down and then pulled it back off and then it ran good for about 10 sec. and then the same thing. Any imput would be great, I am a yamaha guy and this kawi is kind of different to me. I am not sure if there is something I am missing.

I kinda had the same problem today, I rode for about five min and then my ski started bogin like crazy but only on the low end, I have plenty of top end power. I haven't had any chance to check anything yet but it's drives me nuts just thinking about it, I hate when my toys don't run right:frown:

Is there steam coming out of the pisser? If you are noticing a lot of steam coming out intermittenley with water you may have a pinched cooling hose or one may have melted a bit. Have you checked the plug wires to make sure they are making good contact with the plug boots?

I put new gas in it today and blew out the gas vent on top of the tank and rerouted it then poped some new plugs went out today and had a great time for about 45-or so and no problem. I am so confused......But very happy. I will let you guys know and thanks so much for all the help.

did you completly drain the tank? thats what it sounds like to me .i had a freind throw some gas in my ski between rides and cross thread my fuel cap its not that hard to do because the cap still feels snug.the problem didnt start affecting my ski till the gas got to about half tank or less.anyways it was a rascal to diagnose because it almost feels like its electrical .i should have known ,i like to do stabs ,rolls, ect putting my ski underwater alot. anyway now i end up draining my tank about 3-4 times a season.but i do have plans to order the tbm filler neck to replace the stock plastic one and already have an aluminum gas cap. long story short i would start at the gas tank drain every last drop because the water is going to be on top of that last little bit of fuel if thats your problem, good luck!

you mean the water sits on the bottom, right? I'm lazy now and just sipon off the bottom, if it seperates I keep going til I get just fuel. yes it should all go in the trash, you also can sometimes have fuel sitting in the fuel pump of the carb, so don't forget it can still be there even if you drain the tank.

no i mean on top it will sit as clear layer on top of your fuel siphon your fuel and sometimes you can see it ,oil will sit on top of water but when mixed with fuel you will see the water on top .superjnick how far into your tank are you when this starts to happen?
