SXR SXR Carb Gaskets

Anyone reuse OEM carb gaskets on their SXR. Im a big believer in replacing all rings, seals, gaskets after a fair amount of use. I was just looking at my OEM carb gaskets and noticed their in perfect shape except that all the black lamination is worn off of them so their just the bare aluminum. Anybody use their carb gaskets without the black laminant on them? Just curious cuz im low on gaskets but never used these without the plastic covering cuz of fear of air leakage. lemme know if anybody done this before. Thanks guys!

If you were to cover them with a light silicone you might be alright, but thats a hassle. I would not just put the bare alum on there, you need something to make it seal. I sell them new for $2 each. If you need some let me know.
