650/X-2 Sxr Carbs? Jetting?

First off, the butterfly plate on the "slave" carb doesn't seem to shut 100%. Im thinking this may be due to the fact they two carbs are connected how they are (with the zip tie). How are they supposed to be connected?

When you give it throttle they work perfectly, its just letting off the throttle would cause the one not to completely close.

They have had work done to them as well. Bored out to i believe it is 49mm at the top. That is measuring with a tape but i think its correct.

Jets are 180 and 80, and im not sure about the sping (its silver). What would be a good setting of jets etc. for the following

-750 small pin
-Coffman pipe
-ADA head with 26 cc domes (165 psi)
-Dual sxr carbs
-K&N arrestors
Dont know if this matters?
-650 electronics
-sxr prop

Whoever decided to purdy up those carb throats destroyed the jetting reference. The whole tuning process will need to be performed. This is much tougher with twin carbs that may end up needing different settings from one another.

There is a screw and tension spring missing. It is used to synch the carbs. That mod is commonly done by Group k and Jet World. 180 mains sounds like some serious fuel for that size of carb.

yeah ok i see where the screw is missing. it has the spring there so i just need to find a screw that will thread in.

So i think the only thing im really missing now is the i
idle t adjuster screw.

Gunna maybe try 147.5 and 70 jets and see how that is i guess.
