Most side exh systems, except for weight loss, are just better for tail stands and are louder. Considering I just got the "Hey are you the guy with the BRAP, BRAP, Brap... BRAP,BRAP all the time in front of my place! " Loud is not always the way to go.

think so i ran them for years and never again for me and i dont see you losing any weight . besides i breath enough exhaust daily i would rather enjoy the fresh air when i ride . also spend the money somewhere else you will see more power or weight loss if is a big concern

as far as losing weight goes, i tossed out that big rubber exhaust hose on the side of the ski, and the nearly one pound exhaust hose bracket thing....and i dug out my exhaust tube from the rear of the ski. with a chubby sx-r every little bit counts

it was a free mod for me, to make the front outlet, i used a piece of my exhaust tube from the rear of the ski and welded to a piece of 1/8" aluminum i had sitting around, looks like a blowsion outlet but at a much cheaper price.

hey kx how did you dig the exhaust out?

Well i will try and explain the best i could. and please dont ask me how this method came about, but i pounded the tube out as far as i could with a dead blow hammer from the inside of the hull. then when the tube was sticking out of the back we put vice grips on it and just started yanking. it comes out with a bit of force, but it isnt that bad.
