Why do people put 25mm padding in the tray but leave it out of the foot holds? I don't see the benefit. No padding when riding in the holds. Uneven footing when not in the holds. Is it just for when you bail and land in the tray?

there is no way you'd fit your foot in the hold with 25mm pad in there too, but i am putting pad in the foot holds just its going to be 8mm so that im going to be able to fit my feet in.
