SXR W/ RRP POLE SPRING QUESTION

Are you SXR homies running the lightened or stock spring with your RRP poles?

On the SJ my lightened spring gave my ski a boner pole that wouldn't go down so I ran the stock spring.

Use the original spring, give it a slight re-bend in a vise so the pole end of the spring runs up into the RRP tube and it works perfect

Cool, thats what I was afraid of. So I have a brand new lightened SXR spring if anyone wants to trade it for a stock one..

Has anyone run the lightened spring with their RRP pole and been able to get the pole to lay down on its own?

No matter what pole, no matter what spring, if the spring is too strong and it keeps the pole up too much, just take a propane torch and heat the spring just enough to let some tension off. I've done it many times for perfect tension
