Depends on the exhaust. big heavy pipe with a lot of vibration they will work great. On a bpipe would be overkill.

I was told to use these with my TNT exhaust, however I have some good quality Oring clamps and they work too. Not the flimsy ones and you shouldn't have a problem. I will probably use T clamps on my next fresh build however, overkill or not I wont have to worry about them

Hell no. Definitely not overkill. You don't ever have to worry about a hose falling off with them. Especially not overkill on a ski with no foam. All I'll ever use!

A "T" bolt style clamp isn't overkill, it's PEACE OF MIND.
Your standard worm drive/hose clamp can easily be over torqued and stripped out.
With a T-bolt clamp, if you do over torque it more than likely it'll destroy your coupler.

So I guess i should of asked what kind of exhaust. I have never stripped a new worm gear clamp. I have bent aluminum pipe with a tbolt clamp tho.
