I'm looking to buy a PET tach so I can properly tune my 3 blasters and fx1. I am wanting to know where the best mounting location would be for the tach.
Since I am going to be moving the tach from ski to ski, I dont want to drill holes in the ski if I don't have to. Unless it was permanently mounted but they are way too expensive to buy one for each ski. Some kind of quick connect would be nice if it wouldn't affect the readings.
Having a cheaper tiny tach for each ski would be nice so I can keep track of the engine hours. But I have heard they aren't the best for tuning.
For the blasters, I was thinking of mounting it right at the 6 o'clock position of the steering column. The fx1 would be nice somewhere by the chinpad.
What are you doing to mount the tachs?
