Lately Ive had the urge to sell my ski's.

Not necessarily because I want to, but because I dont want to go 10K in debt this last year of college. And with my college being 500 miles away, I would like to get a new car for the weekend commute.

I figure this time next year Ill be making 40K a year, and could buy maybe that new " '08 SJ"

I built my Sj all last winter, and I enjoy it, but we also have a very short riding season here in MI.

So I dont know what to do, if I decide to sell, it will be soon since summer will bring top dollar.

On a side note, what do you think this package will bring?

People keep telling me sell everything but the SJ, well thats the big money maker :banghead::frown:

Sell the kawi and keep the sj. You'll lose too much money selling the sj. 40k after graduation sounds like a lot, but it isn't. There will be plenty of other things to suck up all your money.

Here's a way to satisfy your urge to sell:

Sell the Kawi . . . . . . . . then buy another SuperJet ! :arms:

See how easy that was ? ! !

You can thank me later . . . . . . . . right now, you need run out and buy a "For Sale" sign for that Kawi !

Well what luck, going to work this morning, my transmission took a ********!!

Sadly I have no other choice at this time but to sell them.

Dont worry though, I will only be out for a year!!!!

Atleast this way I will be debt free out of college allowing me to buy that new secret '08 SJ.

Hey man I hear ya. I'm in the same boat as you. I've got college debt I want to pay off and on top of it I have to get another car. I'm about to put my ski up for sale also. I plan on taking some of the money and starting my Race Blaster build though.:Banane01:

I'm also thinking a new 08 superjet might be a possibility in a year or so.

what happened to the GI Bill............

I'm not eligible for the GI bill because I picked up a full Air Force Scholarship in college. Unfortunately I did not get the scholarship until my sophmore year so I had to pay for a year and a half of Out-of-State tuition at Auburn which wasn't cheap. It could have been worse though. I could of had to pay for 5 years of Out-of State Tuition which would have really sucked.

take it back down to stock, put the stock head and exhaust on, it wont lose much value, but if your getting back into skis later thats a grand worth of basically brand new parts.

Personally, I would support you selling the ski to pay for college. Preparing yourself for a future with education is probably the smartest thing you can do. Jetskiing will always be there. The opportunity to get an education while your young will not be.
