Freestyle TBM flywheel not charging or other problem?

So I just installed a TBM charging flywheel on my ski.
Since I installed it, my battery has seemed low everyday. I rode 5-6 gallons this weekend, then the ski stopped and the battery would barely get it turned over. It barley started, but once it did it ran like crap, back firing and then died again. dead in the water.

So has anyone had trouble with the TBM charging? It seems like it is slightly charging as I got 8-10 gallons from the time I put it in, to the time it quit.
Or is my stator going out? Also my battery is a few years old, so maybe that went bad?

Never had a problem until I installed the TBM.

I think it was TBM flywheels that were known for having magnets that get weaker over time. That could be your issue. Charge the battery and get the ski started and read the voltage on the battery before starting and after starting (give it a bit to recover from cranking) to see if it's charging the battery or not.
