TBM tote details?

Has anyone bought a TBM tote (http://www.tbmracing.com/products/access.html#tote) recently? I’d like to get more detail on it but haven’t had any luck contacting Tim at TBM--either directly through his web site, or via my dealer. I also tried contacting the firm that manufactures them for TBM (http://www.patmontmotorwerks.com/projects.html) and no luck there either, though I didn’t really expect them to respond to retail customer inquiries.

Measurement details:

• Height of rail tops from the ground, height of rail tips from the ground
• Width with wheels on, width (of axle) with wheels off
• Length with handle loop removed
• Weight

The description says it’s “aluminum alloy and stainless steel”—which parts are which, or more simply, what’s steel other than the fasteners?

It looks like the design has evolved, comparing http://www.tbmracing.com/images/products/full/tote_new_lg.jpg to http://www.x-h2o.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=19801&d=1170474046. Is either the current design? Does the front support still pivot up? Also, in only one of the photos it looks like there are fasteners on the side of the main rail a few inches aft of the TBM logo—are those rails each in two segments? The tbmracing.com photo doesn’t show the rail tops—what sort of slider material covers them?

Looking at http://pwctoday.com/attachments/f61/149030d1232138927-tbm-stand-up-tote-scissor-stand-img_0329.jpg it doesn’t seem like the paint (powdercoat?) adhered well. How’s the finish on yours?

Are there other photos/videos that I can look at?

How was your purchase experience? Was delivery prompt? What did you pay for it, and for shipping?

I’m not worried about corrosion, but if they bother to powdercoat the thing it should adhere if their process is right. Do you have a recent one?

Nope. If I were, I wouldn’t ask about weight or purchase experience.

This isn’t something I can easily afford—and I really can’t afford to make a mistake. So I have to know if it will fit in the back of my car, roll on a path between posts, be easier to use with my low trailer floor than a Tiger Tote, and hold up well if reasonably cared for.
