Team Scream is not X Metal............ Team Scream is Chucky......... That is who builds Pats Motors.............. You can also go with Jr Magoo's for port work, along with TLR (if Todd is still doing porting on ski's)

Team Scream's owner, Chucky, is a pretty cool guy. He's an ex-motocross tuner/racer who still tunes/races vintage bikes. I believe he was a team mechanic for Sea Doo for a period of time as well. Team Scream is located about 1/4 mile away from XMetal in Clearwater, Florida and they work closely with Pat on experimental designs and engineering. He can be reached at (727) 442-7700.

ah okay thats the info i was looking for, didn't know the story of team scream and have heard that pat's ski rip, i guess that that is because of chuck's skills. i know magoo ports but i am looking for other options and have only heard great things about pat, and figure anything he is associated with is good. Cool thanks guys.

Jetworks in Newport Beach, California also does very good work. They've been around a LONG time. I'm SUPER happy with the quality of the work they do for me. They're also easy to get on the phone for questions after you've got your motor.

can anyone buy a lamey cylinder and send it to a engine builder to sleeve and port, i KNOW magoo has lameys, just wondering if anyone else builds these motors, and if Dan will sell me a jug so i can send to the engine builder of my choice.

Pat's current boat is a Team Scream Lamey.

Chucky's currently doing my ADA 6mm billet stroker, and I just (today) did the first run on a 62T 85mm stock stroke arm-ripper that he did for me also this winter (lowered machined the bottom of the cylinder and make custom domes). I'm very happy with the way it hits.

okay this is good stuff, Is Chucky doing one of those new ada cylinders from their website? if so what is the final displacement. Is the 62t using kawi flattops pistons, and if i got a Speedwerx 62t that had been ported for racing can it be resleeved and then freestyle ported or would they have grinded some of the casting away. Sorry for all the questions but i just want to research all my options for when i get good enough to ride a ski with some serious power. One last thing, what would Dan Lamey's Contact info be. It will be good to get all this info now so that when i'm ready i can make the calls and actually sound like i know a little bit about it. Thanks.

Keith over at Head Enterprises can also port a lamey or whatever you want. He's been running a lamey for years.
He's located in Detroit Michigan, so hes not too far from you. He's in the process of doing Joe Eckerts lamey right now.

All of the above afformentioned are also great at what they do. You'll be happy wherever you go. Nothing better than a nice portjob.

No, my ADA is one of the older ones that ADA re-offered last year. It's a 6 (73)mm x 85mm. It's done, but he's waiting for me to bring my boat down there to install it and set it up for me.

The 62T uses traditional domed Wisecos. I was surprised when he recommended these, but he was confident and he did some trick stuff to the head domes also.

Within 15 minutes of Pat introducing me to Chucky, I was hooked by his expertise. He had a very professional attitude that he could pretty much make anything flow as desired by machining and epoxying and other. He kind of reminds me of a Smoky Yunick type of tuner, but with two-strokes (we old timers know who that is).

I'd recommend giving a call to a few of the builders. They are usually pretty willing to share ideas and guide you and discuss what you can do on your budget. I've met a lot and I have a lot of respect for all of them (Chucky, Paul, Art (Jetworks). They are all well-qualified and they all have their specific fortes. I just decided to give Chucky a shot with my motor and am quite happy I did so.

I must admit though Team Scream Lamey just sounds so F-ing cool:biggthumpup: oh-ya good info guys maybe if you have the contact info for these guys post it up and it can be used for future reference.
