Teflon strips for carts and stands

I recently built a beach cart and coated the aluminum with this self adhesive backed teflon. I cleaned the aluminum with acetone then used a heat gun to wrap it around the pipe. It works great and forms to the cart with ease when a heat gun is used. I have included some pics of my cart so you can see the teflon as well as a link on where to buy it. I bought the 3/4” wide x 10’ length

I've used this stuff on tooling and fixtures quite a bit. Holds up well and doesn't scuff and slides nice. Usually get mine thru mcmaster
