good question, Its not so much the difference in kawi and yamaha but in years
the B-pipe came about because they machined the face 4mm to make it fit the blaster then found out it made more power. They stamped them with a B
After that then it was all the b-pipe header. As far as i know every unit went to the shorter header after that.

Thanks Wax!! I already stuffed your superjet chamber in my SXR. I had to use a SJ waterbox also. I'm not pulling the engine back out to swap waterboxs though so mine will just have to live with the SJ chamber in it.

Awsome to have another chamber on the market! I always wanted to try a waveblaster mod in a standup and have a couple nice ones but don’t really want to dent one up. One of these bad boys is getting massaged and going in a superjet

The difference is the thickness of the 3 bolt flange that meets the manifold. Kawi is thicker and takes longer bolts. I've used kawi headpipes with yami manifolds but it makes for very tight clearance where the cutout on the manifold is to clear the coupler.
