My Q8 Sky has finally arrived and I couldn't be more stoked!! I still can't believe how light and strong this thing feels.

This is my first time building and riding anything like this. So I don't even know where to start. Tips, advice, opinions, and comments would be very appreciated.
Also, feel free to ask any questions.

I finally got a solid test ride on this ski. So here was my first impression:

First off, I got it running saturday evening at daytona, so i rode it all sunday in the small surf daytona had. I spent the entire day just getting a feel for the ski and its power, so i laid off of any big aerials. I mainly surf rode the ski because i was extremely curious of how it handled.

-handles well in small surf, especially with the nose design.
-flickable and controllable, but unforgiving... the sky doesn't tolerate mistakes it seems like
-aggressive and takes waves nicely
-rides slightly similar to the sxr (i think the bottom of the hull is very similar, or it feels like it)
-recovery takes some getting use to, but it is definitely not as bad as others have made it sound. it's just different. (It caught me off guard a few times..)

Keep in mind, I have only had 1 tank ran through this ski so far, so take that with a grain of salt. But overall, I LOVE this hull. I'm excited to get on the water again and get the ski tuned so I can give it hell!
