I went to the lake and rode nearly all day and did not use one wrench, one time on my ski. I think I have finally figured out that I can't concentrate on what I am doing in a crowd. I guess I am getting old. LOL Did I mention how much I love my LPW Lamey? I got to ride it back to back w/my old LPW 701 and man what a difference in power/delivery of power. I had almost decided that I did not have the intelligence to own a Lamey, boy am I glad I stuck with it thru the learning curve!!! I have been miles of smiles all day and just had to share an awesome day at the lake that I had with a bunch of awesome friends. It was definitely an A+ day!!! I hope everyone else had an awesome day as well !!!

Nice!

I managed to strip one bolt on my B-pipe manifold today, making for a less than optimal ride.

hey Gil, for the ski to run good, you have to crank it, not dry hump it on the trailer.

Now C'mon, u know that w/u have 828cc of LPW Lamey power-it IS ok to dryhump your ski. LOL How is the ankle now? W/u riding again? I talked to Paul today-sounds like he has some possible good news!!! U know we are about to have another 6mil in AL-right? Got some Jetworks power almost ready just a little south of us. If it is as good as Charles motors, it should rib pretty dam hard as well. BTW-I talked to some people that talked to some more people that say your ski is rippin real hard as well. ???Hmmmm??? LOL
U got to remember-your people are the same as my people(for the most part).
LOL

ankle not doing to well, ice on it as I type. still swelling alot if I am on it too much..... will get better soon hopefully, especially when the cut closes up......

It was a great ride! Nobody had boat problems! wait.....an sxr had a bad plug. The Lamey was SUPER STRONG (Gildo's stabs are looking a lot better on this boat), and my 701 ran great all day too! Anyway....riding seems to be more fun everytime I get out on the water! It actually seems like I am learning how to somewhat ride these days...

Too bad Cliff, BK, Crammit, and the other folks didn't show up! It woulda been even better! :stooges:

How about Gil kknows the water cop and copper made some waves for us in the copper boat!

When it comes to water cops all I know about them is that they like to write you a ticket... my only experience with them has been no wake zone tickets and warnings. I guess no wake means NO WAKE! Going as slow as possible and maintaining control holds no weight with them.

Yeah I jumped on the SXR for a spin to see what my motor will run like if I ever install it sometime this summer... (that si another story) And I was like this thing is a turd... I bring ti back in and Gil the rapist went to wrenching on it. Steeldog laid his magical hands on the cylinder and said it is the rear one. After some new plugs I opend it up a little and blew the cob webs out of it. It didn't run bad. Should be pretty strong in a X2 that weighs almost 100 pounds less.

Gil, where's the pics?

It was total b.s. this time... last week was a different story, Thanks Jimmy.:pokey: but we were inoccent this week...

The CG threatened us with 25,000 fines per person for "impeding the voyage of a commercial vessel"... I dont know how we could impede anything, from BEHIND the boat, unless the General Jackson thru it in reverse and decided to back up the river.

Someone....not to mention names...cough cough Jimmy cough :slap: was doing hood tricks infront and beside the GJ. They blew the horn... I think to encourage him, :headbang: but it may have been for a more less then encouraging reason. :drillsergeant:

I think its all kinda funny, as long as it doesnt cost me anything in fines.

It was good ride even after that... just stayed further away from the GJ and then the cruiser traffic started picking up.

Ironically it was the first time I had been totally legal in over a year and they didnt even check anything on us....just told us to stay back from the boat.

back in Sept 2007 I lived in PA but still had all my stuff registered in WV. Anyways I go riding for the first time at this lake in PA. Sure there were no wake signs everywhere but I went as slow as humanly possible without catching a buzz from the exhaust fumes. Well needlesto say johhny law water copper gives me a warning for making a wake in a no wake zone. I think a verbal warning would have been fine because it was cold and I just wanted ot get out of my wet suit. He took forever and then checked my registration, boater's liscense, and fire extinguisher. Funny thing was until that day, I didn't have any #'s what so ever on my ski. I was just being too lazy to put them on... Good thing I did that morning...
