not only could i not get off work to attend, my folks decided that this would be a lovely opportunity to visit for a few (too many) days....Granted, my parents are cool..but........

COuld the wave gods at least shine upon us for a little weekend surf???

2 kids, a working wife, a hectic work schedule, $3 a gallon gas, one running ski...

Lots of reasons for me.

Some year I want to go and experience it.

I guess its one of those things you have to prepare almost the entire year before.

I need something that gets 30 MPG and tows a couple of standups.

Actually, it's paying for my daughter's college and her up coming wedding...

No no... saying that's why I am not hitting events... I am paying for her college and wedding... and trying to pay all cash for them so I have no loans...

As for talking to those guys, my wife just thinks is a little strange talking to people on the internet. She's seen to many movies I guess...

I was supossed to be in Grand Cayman this weekend, sorting out some business, but the damn Customers canned on me yesterday!:banghead:

My 4 yr old daughter's first ever dance recital is tomorrow afternoon. So there was no way I was going. I love ridin, but I'll never pick it over my kids.

I'm just gonna get smashed tonight in honor of the ride.:biggrin:

That sums mine up as well.

Cub scout campout Sat night on the Buffalo River.
My ski doesnt make the 9.9 HP limit, so it will sit at home.

Kudos to ya Glory, I feel the same way.

Geek, I thought you WERE going this year?

I feel your pain. Sad part is I have to drive 5 hrs to go to a family event
this weekend, and I don't even get to ride. :-(
