Once again I must say thank you to Nick and Thrust and Jetmaniac and Rad Dudes and all who help each year to coordinate the event.
It's not a task that I envy.
After 9 years attending I find myself not-so excited in months prior to the freeride. Kind of a been there done that feeling. But then I find, year after year, that it gets better and better.
Hats off to all.
I don't know how many riders were there this year, but I don't think I've ever seen that much beach used up by freeriders! That was a long walk for an old fart like me!
Also gotta mention the pro riders and the awesome attitude and down-to-earth regular-guy coolness that they convey each time we meet. Nothing smug about them.
It makes me believe that stand-up freeriders in general are a great bunch of people.
That's what makes it all so good.
