Blaster Thinking about getting a blaster.

Thinking about getting a blaster for my girlfriend. But i have never rode one and no very little about them. Can any one tell me how they ride or if it would even be a good choice?

I think they are 40lbs heavier than a SJ which makes them 35lbs lighter that a SXR. IMO they are fun to ride and turn on a dime and launch very well.

Not to mention the excellent 144 pump and Yamaha motor with TONS of upgrade-ability.

If you can not or will not be getting a SJ then a blaster would be great!

I have a 750 with a 800 motor. Im just looking for something fun and easy to ride for my girlfriend. Ive done some reading and from what i understand, the b2's or easier to ride then a b1. Is that correct?

Get her a SJ and you will end up taking it over and letting her ride the SXi 800....or you will ride and love both and so will she...win win...

I would love to get her a stand up but she doesn't want one or will even try riding mine. She needs a sitdown that is easy to ride and takes little skill.

blasters take skill to ride and id say not easy but deff fun to ride
so with that said my bud has a blaster for sale with lots of upgrades already done
he just doesnt ride it anymore
has factory mod pipe , full umi steering, solas impeller jet dynamics intake and ride plate
pm me if interested

I just got one and they are not like riding a typical sitdown. They turn on a dime and can tip over on a dime, after they tip over then the fun begins trying to get back up on it. I can get up on it fairly easy but some people can't get on it if there life was depending on it. With that said they are a great ski to have and ride and a lot of fun. My suggestion is try one out if you can to see if she will like it!!!
