The only thing you can do is drain plugs/screws until you can cut it open. And even then you might as well let the plugs there for the future becuase it’s more of a “when will it leak again” and less of a will it leak again situation with most skisI got a used Tigercraft SV1 and it has water in the right side tray 100% I tried to ignore it like it did not have water in it but all the signs said it was.
Should I just add drain plugs for now? I do not want to cut tray open until I can do a full rebuild on it.
That's good news. Do you know the weight of your hull, or total weight? I thought mine was waterlogged because the bare hull weighs 135lbs, about 335 total. After scoping through the plug holes I determined it was just a very heavy surf layup.
This has worked just fine on the Superfreak hulls and it's fail safe simple.Keep it simple. Drill a couple of small holes on both sides in the lowest part of the hull in the rear. Get a couple of stainless screws and screw them in.
When you get done with your ride remove and the let ski drain on the way home. Keep it simple
Guess that’s where I learned to do that. KISSThis has worked just fine on the Superfreak hulls and it's fail safe simple.
