timing advance plate install

we were installing buddy's timing advance plate on his 92 sx once the plate was on , the timing box was hitting the side and the holes would not line up, anybody run in to this or have a solution for us?


ps its gettin nice out boys anyone gettin the itch yet

here is wut we were lookin at

frase i think you gotta grind out a bit of the flywheel cover...or some of the plastic on the sensor. then that hole should line right up id say

Yes,i ground down the black part just on an angle to make it fit. Worked on both mine and my brothers.
