Tips on installing pump shoe?

Putting a worx aluminum pump shoe in my ski this weekend. It’s my first go at installing a pump shoe. Any tips or tricks? Advice is appreciated as always

you have to much faith in the site search function. You're better off just going to google

I just put a worx shoe into my new hull. I had to grind a good amount of material off of it using an air tool and carbide bit (most people say they need to be trimmed to fit any hull since worx makes them pretty beefy). But it ended up fitting nice and snug. Sealed it in there with 5200.

Test fit the pump with with the shoe before you glue. Other than that pick your favorite sealant and glue it in place. I use thickened epoxy.
