Here are some pics of the LegDrag/ Watcon build. The TKO hull I got from Kevin is 85lbs. Randy is doing the rest of the building and installing everything. Input is welcomed. + or -

So, you sending the hull out to Watcon to complete???

how much that setting you back, shipping etc etc.........

Looks great!!!!!!!!!!!

Well to show how nice Kevin and Randy are. I bought the hull from Kevin in Fla. He got the hull to the world finals for really cheap. Randy got Blowsion to put it on there truck and take it back to there store after that. Randy drove over an hr to pick it up from them a week after to bring back to his shop to work on it. It will cost maybe $400-$500 to ship it to me from Watcon, hopefully in a/b two week when its done.

youre going to wish you built it yourself the first time it breaks down...

;)

its not hard!

I have faith in Randy and plus he is going to be a Daytona to help with any adjustments. He is going to water test it before he ships back to me anyway. I didn't do it b/c I don't have a workshop any more after the Hurricane and all my tools were screwed. The motor needed to be finished getting ported, and I am new to the sport and didn't want to take the chance of screwing it up. I am happy I let Randy have this project. He is a great guy to do business with. So is Kevin.

lol...thats not what I meant

i have never dealt with Randy but have only heard STELLAR feedback...

and Kevin Collins from LEGDRAG............. :headbang:

Its a jetski, and if you use it in salt it WILL breakdown....Doesnt matter who builds it..

better to learn ahead of time rather than trying to learn how to wrench on it at the beach!

Eh....putting together such an expensive motor is probably best left to pros if you don't trust yourself 200% to do it.

Sorry, but I completely disagree with what's said here.

And that looks like an 8mm stroker crank, right?

I think 6mm. Then after I learn how to do some tricks I will increase the bore size. But for now I want it to be as reliable as possible. I don't need an 8mm to start off with. But it would be fun. And I think we are changing the R&D grate out for the Skat Trak one. Hear its got better hook up.

When did you win the lotto? Nice boat and bling on all the parts you are putting in it!

Personally I would have let Watcon build the motor than installed everything into the hull myself.
