Tnt vs pfp

About to order new exhaust and would like some people's thoughts on the tnt v3 vs pfp. Is the v3's stainless stamped design less prone to cracking compared to the pfp or is it still a gamble no matter which one you go with? I know it's all about how you strap them down to help from cracking. More curious if there has been better luck with one or the other

I would go with PFP.
You can always add a spraybar to the PFP system and run it wet.
There have been some TNT chambers that cracked also.
Im still running my gen1 PFP on my 4th or 5 year, and it have never cracked. Be sure to align the exhaust system properly and strap it down secure.

PFP exhaust is good for high end/high rpm like flatwater combos. The TNT exhaust is good to tune in any RPM range although I think I have seen people with the xscream motors leaning towards the Power factor because that is where the motor likes to run. If you are racing or surf it is a no brainer to run the TNT, if you are running flatwater then more thinking might come into play but biggest thing is the motor you run and what your builder suggests for the package.

As for cracking you have more material to crack in the PFP so I am sure that issue still exists, I have a TNT V3 system for my 900 and 1105 flatwater boat and love the system. Never any cracking issues since I have had it. I have seen people have issues when they use different manifolds or they do some really hack work. Install it properly and you shouldn't have an issue with either system. Tim is great to talk to and if you are running his pipe he really goes out of his way to help you get dialed in. I spent my money and will in the future because you are buying more than just a pipe when you purchase TNT.

I would prefer tnt, just because I know how to tune that style of pipe..it’s just like tuning a b pipe in. Never messed with any dry pipes before

Tim dose some great exhausts. I'm sure you can look around here for some of his posts. I like my TNT. I would buy from him again

My vote would be for the PFP, that's what I just ordered, 3 of my buddies that have ran both were able to get more power out of the PFP.

TNT v3 was crazy more poweful than my B pipe with a 964 TPE. No wonder Bruno Jacob is going so big at the moment, that combo is scary in surf.
