That only shows you the last 24 hours. If you haven't been on the site in 2 days, you'll miss a lot of threads. If you've been on the site just 6 hours ago, it will show you a ton of threads that you've already seen and you'll have to figure out where you read up to.

I use the site quite a bit and the link only shows one page at a time; sometimes there will only be a couple threads if any during the late hours.

With the 24 hour post included they're quite a few more pages available to search without having to go through each forum section.

Also what is the difference between the [What's New] button and the [New Posts] button in the top left corner or the [New Posts] button just below those links? They all seem to work the same just different places to click on so it would be nice to have one that would include the posts from the previous 24-hours.

It always seems like the new posts link only has a few threads in a single page and the 24-hour previous posts link has eight to fifteen pages of threads to read.

What's new includes blog posts, articles, etc etc that we may start utilizing more often down the road.

Personally, I only want to see what is new since the last time I was here. I don't want all the old threads showing up in my results since I've already seen them.

Anyone else want to chime in?

Not completely relevant but I almost exclusively use the tapatalk app which has an 'unread' tab, showing you every thread that you haven't read. It also has a 'participated' tab, which I probably use the most, which shows all the threads you've chimed in on. I find the desktop version of the x semi frustrating to use vs the tapatalk version, so I really appreciate having that option. It works especially well on my iPad too. Everyone should give it a try

x2, If they dont have any added content since the last time I've viewed them, I personally dont want them to show up in the "new post" search

There is a border between the treads that are only a few hours old and the ones that are up too 24-hours old saying [The threads below have not been updated since your last visit or since forums have been marked read.] so you should be able to differentiate the ones already viewed.

I personally don't think there's a need for two [New Posts] button links that have the same function in the left corner and would prefer to see the Todays Posts link back.

SuperJETT, did it use to be that the todays post button showed when you were not logged on ? and then after logging in it went to new posts ?
