Hi guys, sorry to have to start another TL thread but I have been trying to work out what I should do to try minimise the risks a bit and I need some experienced help so it doesn’t take ages to work it out with a lot of guessing.
Need to get a base line to set my blaster up with a total loss system, it is the system that says digital but with single 2 post coil and the flywheel has 2 magnets and uses 1 single pickup. Can anyone help?
My setup:
701 with .5 overbore
170psi compression (Stock machined head)
62t cases with dasa style porting
61x cylinders port matched and exhaust port opened about 4mm
Boyson reeds
Twin 38s chokes removed
Red Riva pipe
When I was running this setup with MSD Enhancer and 61X stock lightened flyweel and stator plate my tuning was
Lows 85
Highs 137.5
N/S 2.0
Pop 25psi
Just need to know how far off my jetting may be from switching to TL and what's the best dip switch settings or curve I should put on the total loss brain? Also from a bit of reading if I have it right 28 degrees of static timing,
Im mainly just a surf rider if this effects what timing I should be using
