Total loss timing

So i lost my notes where i had my timing curve settings. And i need to get my rockered blaster running.

I have 701 +.50 non ported engine.(will port cylinder and case later) Blowsion head 185psi, vforce3, 38carbs,bpipe, and msd tl, pump is 144magnum.

I need best curve for freeride. What do you guys have?
Bit hurry since storms are coming and i need to get it ready for big waves.

I have a 760 with bpipe, dual 44ś 180 lbs compression blah, blah, blah... and I set my static at 29 and start retard at 5k, limit my rpm to 8250 with final retard of 17 degrees.
That works great for me. I tried setting my static at 31 but that was too much. It was harder to start and I burned up a couple starters and then went back to 29 and its perfect.
I have the older msd total loss that uses the resisters and does not have the pins. I am super happy with it!

What differense is between 4000 and 5000 retard starting. How does that effect riding?

28 degrees is usually fine in the middle of the RPM range however it could be too much if the mixture is too lean.. You want it to be close to stock at whatever RPM the pump is holding at full throttle. You have to balance the variables at full throttle to avoid meltdown.
